I go to the Knitting Factory at least twice a month or more for concerts. They get some of the greatest acts in town. Admittedly at times the sound is off, but usually adjusted in a timely manner. I always look forward to seeing what exciting adventures await. The only issues I have ever had have been with inebriated patrons... More

Patron Services are a rude indifferent punks. Watch yourself, if you look slightly inebriated they will cut you off and kick you out. I left center stage to work a cramp out of my leg and they surrounded me and took me outside. Without any cause they cut me off. My tab there showed two beers. I was looking forward... More

As someone that attends a number of shows a year, it is very telling when I go into a venue and see very basic things that should've been worked out by now. For example, you create chaos by having the merch and entry way into the show converging and creating gridlock before you even get into the area. There has... More

Was a great concert, full bar on each level and private bar in VIP. It gets crowded but overall it was a great concert hall! Bartenders were great and poured heavy drinks which made the spendy drinks more worth it. I would go here again

Went to the Knitting Factory to see a band in concert. There was seating in several locations, which you had to get there early if you wanted a seat. We chose to stand on the floor and watch the concert. Even though I am short I was still able to see the stage and enjoy the show.

The place acoustically isnt bad but the riff raff that shows up here puts a damper of the show. Saw Shakey Graves here other night. nothing like getting there early to get close the front for some pill popping hillbillies to snake their way in and block the view of a younger couple who were not doing anything about it.... I've attended concerts here for a number of years......and stood (and sat) all over the venue. Be careful if you plan on standing back near the bar...........under the balcony. The sound gets pretty muddy here. Overall.....thumbs up. They provide a great venue for the bands that don't draw a large enough crowd for the Arena, but have a good following... More

My second visit to this venue was as good as the first. The sound is great upstairs and downstairs and if you are not tall like me, you can see the whole stage from upstairs without any problems. There are plenty of bars to get a drink and the prices are reasonable. Only thing I don't like is that once... More

Oct. 22/15. (Clutch concert). Couldn't see (Jean Paul - drummer, or Dan - bass player, due to excessive 'effect' smoke. Bar area needs to be bigger. The place was packed, constantly having to push through concert goers to get a drink. Band sounded great, good energy.
