We enjoyed walking around downtown, the parks. restaurants & shops. Riverfront Park was beautiful even though it was a particularly hot weekend. I think if we go to Spokane again I might like to try the sky ride.

Spokane has done a remarkable job keeping an old historic town clean & cared for despite the growth & frequent tourists traveling through. With a great ease of walkability & well preserved history this is a fun town to visit for all ages!

You could get lost in Downtown Spokane to experience everything it would take days. It has a lot to offer and never disappoints.

We are from Montana and while we support our local small stores, we do enjoy going to Spokane and hitting the big stores and specialty shops we don't have. By showing your Montana driver's license, you do not have to pay the state sales tax....More

Spend a warm summer day wandering around downtown. About as modern as it gets while preserving historic buildings like the Davenport Hotel and the twin stacks towering over Steam Plant Square. A river with waterfalls divides the city. Extensive rail yards along the river were...More

Spokane has excitement as the second largest city in Washington. WE walked downtown as a large car show shut down about 6 blocks of downtown streets. People wandered Main street for shopping enjoying the Nordstrom's and branded stores. We stopped in the lively Apple store....More

Lots of restaurants, tons of shops, many you can stay inside going shop to shop. Decently safe, streets are fairly level.

Downtown Spokane has worked hard to maximize and outdoor feel. Great parks with great sculptures...a carousel, big red wagon, installation of runners made of metal right in downtown. Quite charming

I lived here in Spokane for 5 years I absolutely hate the city. Its ugly in 3/4 of it, crackheads, jackholes, loose dogs, super high crime rate , squatters, Marshallese and dbags who think they're all that and a bag of chips... Pull ur pants up u stupid selfish lowlife scum of the earth Oklahoma gayboy. I'd rather live in my dogs dingleberry than here...horrible place to visit always hot and muggy and its 400$ for anything. "Ohh but its cool w all the old buildinnnggssss" just shows how low maintenance and the "fancy" architecture that is here...hmmm it may be cool to visit cuz its different...but a tip: DONT LIVE HERE!!! they sell bongs at 1/2 the gas stations and minors can't even enter and get whined at by an Arab telling a little kid to stay outside while his moms in there for days... I hate it heerreee. U think here is so interesting cause its old... So what go to Alaska or Mississippi at least you'll get a beer for under 4$... hobos every where asking to do a quickie in the bush and if you don't hell crap in his hand and throw it at u or some thing else :/ .. The only good parts the south hill... But there u still got militants that pss on the seat. It always smells like rotting food and can't walk anywhere without being asked or yelled at or even hit... Don't waste ur money AND AVOID HILLYARD
