Sawdust Hill Alpaca Farm is a 15-acre working farm with llamas, miniature llamas and alpacas with guard dogs and chickens. Pet the alpacas, get llamas kisses, buy fresh eggs, and shop our farm store. We have fabulous yarns made from our alpacas, and hats, scarves, gloves, toys and jewelry from alpaca fiber. Enjoy a beautiful day in the green pastures with the animals!

Driving through Poulsbo and wanted to find something to do. We saw the alpaca farm on trip advisor and decided to check it out. Worth it! Small farm with some alpha that we could look at. The store was quaint but enjoyable to browse. We brought home toy alpaca that was just too soft to ignore. The owner was very... More

We found this farm on TripAdvisor and being a knitter I wanted to visit as I often knit with Alpaca fibers. We called ahead and made a reservation for the Farm Tour ($60 for 4 adults). Tour starts at 2:00 pm, we had a late group (ferry happens - ferry delays) but Steve did a fantastic job telling us about... More

My wife and I took our 1-yr-old grandson to see the Alpacas up close. No crowds to contend with. We enjoyed talking with the personable owner and visiting the gift shop.

It is a bit difficult to locate this place even with the help of a GPS. But what takes you there, nonetheless, is your interest to see Llamas. There is also a beautiful Gypsy Horse.

We stopped by to shop, not for a tour. Yet we could see the alpacas and llamas from the entrance to the shop. The owner Steve was very gracious with much information about the area, and even beyond across the Sound. (We spoke about relocation and he offered opinions of areas.) We would up buying a couple of items. We... More

Come meet the alpaca. Some do not mind being stroked/petted.

I have my own alpacas and thought that a fellow farmer would welcome my vist. I was very wrong. I called ahead of my arrival to let them know I would like to stop by for a short visit. I acknowledged that I would have to keep the visit short since they would be closing within a half hour of... More

Today my husband and I went for a day trip to the Peninsula from Seattle. As part of our day, we went to Sawdust Hill Alpaca Farm. We called first and were offered a free tour. The farm was located a short drive from the Kingston Ferry and very easy to find. When we arrived we were met by Steve,... More
