What a wonderful location for a three day scrapbook retreat!!! The bunkers were so picturesque and there were deer everywhere. I love the old charm of this state park!!! The cafe had the best roasted coffee I have had to date and I drink coffee everyday. Our retreat had breakfast lunch and dinner catered by the park in the cafeteria.... More

Take time to check out the Bunkers, and take the trails to see them! Great area to take children to teach the history as well! Don't forget a good jacket, hat as it tends to get windy! You may want a flashlight, and comfortable shoes if you are checking out the trails and looking at the areas of history and... More

We stayed in a great updated house on the grounds of Fort Worden. It had 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Bedding and towels were provided. It was a perfect place to hang out with friends. Nearby was a light house and beach. It is run by the state park system. I would love to return.

beautiful park. worth taking the trip. take a blanket and picnic. If you are a rock hound there are many treasures to be found. Multiple sightings of sea faring critters. Wild berries were very sweet!

Clean grounds & beach area. Nice view of the mainland. Good trails to get around the park. Admittance cost was reasonable.

Went for a run through the park, but once we got to the beach we had to walk and experience it all- cool driftwood, rocks, and seals!

Spent a couple if hours walking up the hill to the artillery remnants. Woodland walks, great views and no crowds off season.

My sister really wanted to see a Lighthouse, so we came to Fort Worden. The views are great. The beaches are nice. We really enjoyed exploring. You can't get up close to the Point Wilson Lighthouse because it has a fence around it. But we still got some really great pics.

Nice variety of habitat: forest, meadow, beach, so it's fruitful for birdwatchers and a very popular destinationfor walking. Two onsite restaurants, camping and RV facilities as well as rented rooms or cabins or houses make this an excellent place for a gathering of the clan, or a quiet, meditative stroll, with over 600 acres to do it. Fantastic views everywhere... More
