Nice lake, and warmer perhaps than most in this area. Be careful where you swim, especially with the recent Spring rain run-off and high water. Nice to just walk by the lake and enjoy the water!

I love this state park because the lake is pretty shallow there, so you don't have to worry about kids getting into deep water. You can walk out into the lake more than 100 feet and still touch!

A beautiful little park with a great swimming area. The water is very warm and we have never experienced any 'swimmer's itch', prevalent in some of the shallow lakes in the area. A quick walk to the market and you can have a really nice...More

The park and swimming area are very well maintained. As an R VERY though, the spaces are very close together and you need to be self contained. -- great for weekend but not long term.
