A little off the beaten path, just before you get into Eastsound. Not a lot of parking, but a nice walk down to the "Lime Kiln" built in the 1890s and the beach. Make sure you respect the adjacent private property.

We went to Orcas Island completely spontaneously a couple days ago. We were thinking of going to the state park at first, since that's number one on the list of things to do there, but we decided to check out Judd Cove first, since that's...More

This was an interesting site. We took the easy walk down to the kiln and enjoyed the view of the cove as well. Due to the heavy rains, the waterfall was gushing right along! Lovely setting.

Judd Cove is an undiscovered gem, a small waterfront park with a short walking trail and a restored stone lime kiln. Perfect spot for meditation or communing with nature close to Eastsound.

Judd Cove is a tucked away little spot that most people probably don't happen upon. A nice bit of history with the restored limekiln. Also a nice cove to explore with a small waterfall right on the beach.

We really enjoyed the Judd Cove Preserve. There are two options to get down to the beach. There is a short walk down a gravel road or a Quarry Loop Trail that is slightly longer. If you take the Quarry Loop Trail, watch for stinging...More

This is the site of an old lime kiln and has a short trail and a great view. Trail is not too bad for kids.

This is a very small beach area with a short, easy trail leading down to it. There a soooo many tiny crabs here .. it was fun turning over rock after rock and finding what crabs were underneath them. It would be a nice beach...More

I agree w/ the other posters, this is a nice little quiet cove - we had it all to ourselves the afternoon we visited in May. Cool bit of history with the lime kiln, and just a beautiful spot to sit back and relax as...More
