Don't want to visit. Don't like the politics. High taxes. SJWs, Looks nice but too many people that think they can tax their way to freedom.

The tour is a walk-through and it is interesting. The capitol seems kind of small. But they get their work done. There is some discussion of history but more would be better.

We had an excellent tour of this beautiful elegant capitol building. The state offers free tours by knowledgeable volunteer docents. I would highly recommend a visit.

We ventured to Olympia on an early Saturday morning train ride there, mostly to see the capitol. After a walk through the building, following the signs, we found the sign-in for the tour. Our tour guide, a former legislator or legislative aide, had retired and...More

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and his enthusiasm for the state as well as the building made it even more interesting. The pace was good for older as well as younger folks, and filled with fun facts as well as important historic milestones.

One of the truly beautiful state capitols. The grounds are a lovely place to stroll -- especially in late spring and summer months. The inner dome is one of the highest in America and is awe inspiring. The legislative rooms are usually open to the...More

When family visited, we took them on the free tour of the Capitol and we all had a great time. The adults loved the architecture and history and the kids loved the "factoid" details offered by the guide.

Yes, there are elevators! And for going into the building, I think you can go through the gift shop. Sorry for getting back to you late!
