We stopped by on a whim, only to discover that they were closed and undergoing renovations. However, one of the volunteers came out to greet us and allowed us in to view the exhibits, even though we were sort of in the way as they were working on remodeling the interior. All of the volunteers were friendly, welcoming, and (justifiably)... More

We loved the Interpretive Center. It was full of fun and interesting facts about the area. They were closed doing some renovations but let us walk through minding the power cords. Such friendly folks!

Not much to look at on the outside but definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. All volunteers and they are very helpful and are clearly proud of their facility.

Cindy and I visited this place on Labor Day. They are in desparate need of funding. It is a touch and learn system and they can answer any and all questions.

We learned about the Interpretive Center via trip advisor and were very pleased to be able to visit it during the week as they are going to have to go to winter hours fairly soon. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the displays. Please make a donation when you visit, as they really depend the the... More

It's only a small center, run by volunteers, but has enough interesting exhibits to keep a family engrossed for an hour or so. Lots of hands-on activities for the kids.
