The view was wonderful and there is a nice area in front of the jetty where the kids are able to play. We noticed a couple of forts made of driftwood. We are planning to return with our kids.

There is an interpretive sign explaining when and why the Jetty was built which was very interesting but walking out on the jetty I feel would not be wise due to the waves crashing on it and slippery footing. The surrounding beach is okay but there are much nicer beaches to stroll on nearby.

We saw several seals a dolphin and sand crabs while hanging out on the jetty. There was a lot of wildlife activity! The day we were there we climbed up on the warm rocks and tried to be still and quiet, and were rewarded for our effort. We saw most people were doing the same thing--another couple had beach chairs... More

Really nice jetty to walk out on, provided weather is decent. Fishing can be done here, crabbing maybe. Keep an eye out for waves!

Lots of tide pools for the kids to watch live sea creatures, clean beach with lots of beach and rocks to explore. Plenty of parking and porta pottys at the entrance. A great way to spend a fay at... Close walk from the parking area. Suggest passing on this to walk around Damon Point. Be aware of the tide schedule and please watch children that just can't help climbing on the rocks

A must see. Beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Walk on beach only. Long rock jetty. Catch glimpses of wildlife and find your beach goodies.

A great place for the whole family to go and find amazing rocks and shells and driftwood and even an occassional piece of sea glass.

Thank Matt H
