This is a great park with a walking trail along the river and is absolutely beautiful, but there are sometimes people sleeping in old RVs or cars in the parking lot and it seems a little sketchy. Other times it seems fine.

The Lions have outdone themselves with this little space. It borders the Skagit River and offers children a safe/fun place to play, while adults can relax and take in the gorgeous riverside landscape. Public restrooms, walkway into town, and a great stop off en route...More

This is a fun little playground fence stuff from the schedule at River. Definitely not a place to play alone. The woods right next by have people living in them sometimes.

We stopped by this riverside park. Nice and easy access. Lots of people enjoying the evening. We set up a couple of chairs and watched the river go by. A bit noisy due to I-5 traffic but a nice break.

Just stopped in to kill some time, and eat a flurry ice cream. It was getting near sundown and the weather was perfect. People walking dogs and eating on the tables. Very relaxing. Park was clean and safe.

The trails are well maintained. There are pretty views of the Skagit River. This is a wonderful local park for dog walking.

Even more so now, it's clean, quiet place to gaze at the river or perhaps picnic. So nice, and close in to town.

This small park is the beginning of the Riverwalk into downtown Mt Vernon. Parking is good and the restrooms are usually pretty clean. The playground has swings and a playset with slide, tubes and other fun things. There are tables with a view of the...More
