Lots of very good educational history but there was a lot of white people bashing... I understand the issues in the past but they even bring it into the current day of how horrible whites are.

It is not often that you can encounter a world class piece of culture like this one. You can feel the pain while you enjoy their contributions.

This is a mush-see stop when you are in the area. The displays are comprehensive and informative and VERY well presented. The only thing needed is better lighting so that all the plaques can be read easily. But allow at LEAST an hour for a visit!

We were able to have dinner with tribal members who cooked dinner for us. Dinner was delicious. Then afterwards got to tour museum and got to know the land and people. Always a pleasure to meet and hear about other native people.

I have lived here all my life and learned more in one afternoon about the tribes, and the awareness of the people and tribal members working there.

It is worthwhile to learn how badly white American settlers treated the native folks. There is a struggle to retain elements of the several Indian tribes in the vicinity. Project 562 is featured in the museum.

I love the longhouse reproduction!! The cedar structure, the meticulous detail in each of the rooms sets the tone for the story of the local tribes. The wall of remembrance for so many tribal members who have served in the U S military is special. If you have any interest in history and or the Tribes of the Northwest you... More
