I think I pretty much summed it up in the title. L'Ecole has an amazing reputation in this state and for good reason. Their wines are exceptional! However, despite the cute school house atmosphere, the tasting room lacked character (more of just a gift shop) and the young millennial gal who did our pours delivered a very mechanical and rehearsed... We were a group of 5 and went to a handful of places for wine tasting during our visit. This is a great stop for the venue; it's a cool space inside and out. The wine is perfectly good, but not our favorite wines from the day. The service was fine but also not the best for the day. It... More

On any day on the way to Walla Walla one need to stop and try their wines, chat with the stuff and walk around the winery. Don't judge my wine preferences, I love L'Ecole white wines.

Ben was very knowledgeable, and provided a lot of interesting info about the family and the wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

I needed a couple specific wines that I knew from their website were available there, and I had a limited amount of time. They let me taste just the two I was interested in, providing separate glasses to help me taste differences. They also told me about a huge bargain on shipping that ends at the end of the month... Our first visit here was about 6 years ago and we really liked the wines. This year's visit didn't impress us. I'm not sure if their wines have changed or if our tastes in wine have changed.

The old schoolhouse setting v is really cool! Chalkboard bar and old bookcases lining the wall. Wine is fantastic, too. Don't forget to ride g the schoolhouse Bell on the way in!

Stopped in on a whim at this winery in a converted school house. The young lady behind the bar, I'll call her Ms S, was very nice and informative. Tasted some very nice wine and took some home with us. A must stop when in Walla Walla.

The wine was just okay, the gentleman working was very pretentious. No need to return. Found much better wine and friendlier service at several other wineries in Walla Walla.

The tour and tasting here is a step above just visiting a tasting room. The tour leader was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and had a sense of humor. He explained how the different grapes are grown and what to expect when you taste the wine. The school house itself is interesting as is its history. The tour of... More
