We traveled in August during a "warm" season in the Pacific Northwest and it was still chilly on the beach. We are used to Gulf coast beaches so it is not surprising to us that the beaches were virtually empty ([plus it was during a...More

Great bike-walking trail that makes viewing the coast and getting exercise easy. We picked up the trail at The Breakers and went all the way downtown where all the fun shops are located.

This is family friendly. Lots of things to do. Some rides, arcade, unique shops. We went on the horse cart ride - very easy for all ages.

Although it was windy and chilly we still thoroughly enjoyed our time on the beach. We rode horses, had a bonfire and ate s'mores!

I don't know, but would recommend that you call the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce or Visitor's Center.
