We travel to Long Beach annually with our dog, Bob. It provides a welcome respite from our busy lives. We enjoy quiet beach walks, biking on the paved trail, and light house hikes. My son and I also enjoy the arcade.

Long Beach has lots to offer singles, couples and families. Lots of shops, restaurants, amusements, special events and close to great Wildlife refuges and Hikes, not to forget a beautiful beach, Discovery Trail and boardwalk for exploring along the ocean. Lots of informative graphics. Sunsets...More

I was on a trip across the US and a friend recommend I stop here because it was an easy beach to get to. I had recent surgery and walking was a challenge. Parking was nice and they had nice walkways. It was a little...More

The sand on this beach is great so soft. You can drive your car on the beach or ride a horse. It's extremely Long obviously the reason it gets it's name, so you don't feel crowded here.

This is a very cute little town with lots of touristy souvenir shops, seafood, ice cream & coffee stands. They had a carousel & carnival around Labor Day when we visited. Ilwaco is a small town close by that had a nice little farmer's market...More

While I have my doubts about their claim "world's longest beach", it is a very neat experience being able to drive your car right onto and then along the beach. Just remember that it is sand and your car will sink if you drive off...More

The town itself is touristy, but fun. The beach is awesome. The bike path (Discovery Trail) is great if you like rolling hills - probably not great for rabid bikers but perfect for us older folks. ;0) Long Beach is our favorite "get away" spot.

While certainly not the longest beach in the world it probably the longest drivable beach at 21 miles. The convenience to the Lewis and Clark Center is excellent and a must see for the traveler.

There’s something for nearly all beach-goers. The beach is wide and obviously quite long. Parts of it you can drive on. There’s a whale skeleton on display. Places where you can have a fire on the beach. The place is so big you can easily...More
