We were visiting Leavenworth in November and decided to take a stroll in Waterfront Park. Much of it was flooded but the parts that weren't were really fun to walk around. Beautiful views and some good bird watching. Recommend!

We had such a nice time walking the wooded trails along the river in the snow! We’ve been here in summer too and it is just as enchanting! Great escape from the crowds and shopping!

We LOVED our time in Leavenworth, to just get out of the city and relax for a couple days. This park was lovely when covered in snow and we walked around with our Hot Cocoa and had a great breath of fresh air.

Walked waterfront park in the snow left over from a few days ago. Very nice area and walk. Would like to check this area out in the spring and summer time when the leaves are out.

One of the nicest things about Leavenworth is how quickly you can walk to the woods by the river. When the streets are packed with people you can get to a quiet wooded path near a beautiful river in minutes. Parking is brutal in Leavenworth....More

Not sure what tree you are asking about, but the holiday lights in Leavenworth burn brightly from the lighting festival in November until well into January.

For sure there is no Ice skating on any lake or river Near Leavenworth or Wentchee or Lake chelan. It's cold but not that cold and the lakes are to big to freeze.

Yes...When we visited we saw several dogs being walked in the park. One dog was having a great time playing fetch the stick in the water.
