We went to a play last night at Bastyr University. It was sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts. This was a play in which the elementary kids where my grand daughter goes to school were able to participate in. What a delight. And even though it was dark out I appreciated the beauty of the grounds on the... More

A great winters day walk in the park and a look at a great old building that should be saved for the future, This grand old building may be restored in to a hotel by a local developer at the cost of millions on a 65 year lease. But for now it is a great place to enjoy a walk... More

Saint Edwards is one of my favorite parks in the Seattle area. It's graced with the old monastery building and some lovely grounds, but most of all it has some serious woods and access - with some effort - to some pristine waterfront on Lake Washington. The trails are many and varied, but not for the faint of heart. They... More

Beautiful State park for a walk/hike. Lots of trails that vary in difficulty. Home of the old Seminary building...Beautiful structure that needs to be saved! Gotta have a Discovery pass to park or pay $10. Easy walk if you park nearby on street.

Saint Edward State Park is near my home and work and I have visited the park regularly since moving to the area over seven years ago. I know all the trails and have used them for hiking and biking. The trails are well maintained and vary in use- there are hiking only, bicycle access, and a easy trail down the... More

Attended the Western Washington All British Field Meet On July 23, 2016. There were 380 old British cars leaking oil on the grounds of Saint Edward. The grounds are a little ratty and unkempt. The trails through the forest down to the lake are beautiful. There is an easy trail to the water and a steeper more difficult ascent and... More

Numerous trails of various levels of difficulty, none too difficult. Start at the large lawn area with picnic areas and a nice play area and if you're wanting some exercise, take a trail down to the lakeside. Sadly, the pool is no longer available to the public. A beautiful area. In addition to the walking trails, there are also bicycle... More

If you haven't purchase one online you can call and pay on phone. Nice hike any day or season. Several trails ranging from easy to difficult hikes. Nice green open grass, playground for kids, drinking station for pets, and parking is ok
