This place is so beautiful and a great way to spend the day outside hiking all of those beautiful trails. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is very informative and worth the short hike. The staff at the center are more then happy to share their knowledge with you. Also spend as much time hiking around as you can because... More

Cape Disappointment is on the rugged Washington coast at the mouth of the great Columbia river. The vistas of the river and the endless beaches is impressive. There is a loop drive that shows off the various points of interest. You can go slow of fast, but I recommend slow to enjoy the great views from lighthouses to surfers. The... More

Very clean campgrounds. Well organized. Yurts are arranged nicely. Dump Station worked well. Nice pads for camping.

Fantastic area for an all day adventure! From the lighthouses (more than one!) to the Interpretive center. The Harvey Allen Battery is a must see.

We have camped at this beautiful park many times. We enjoy the beach, trails and the bright star-lit sky on clear nights. There are two lighthouses and don't miss the Lewis and Clark Interpretation Center. This is one of our top choices for a relaxing getaway.

This is a lovely area of southern Washington, but not when it's raining. Lewis & Clark arrived during a period of driving rain and it was miserable for them - that's why they called it Cape Disappointment

One must drive down to this south side of the peninsula from Long Beach, WA. It is a spectacular view.

I allowed way too little time on my vacation to visit this state park. Quite simply, there was much, much more here than meets the eye. I would have really like to do more hiking here than I did, particularly along the rugged coast at the north end of the park. I got some great looks from the road of... More
