We enjoyed our walk out on the beach. There are five well marked trails through the dunes and tickets of shore pine out to the beach. The restrooms were clean and well kept. We didn't camp, but the sites looked inviting. Definitely a good stop...More

Long open beaches. Multi paths to the ocean with the main paths clearly marked from the shorelines nice wooden benches to rest and experience the shore from a distance. Walking across the dunes to the shoreline requires time, good feet and knees I ended up...More

We've been coming here for decades and never had an issue until the last Independence Day weekend. In fact, I've written rave reviews for this park but not this time. Within 30 minutes of our arrival, two park rangers came over to let me know...More

I spent some time exploring this pretty place while out geocaching with a friend. Many paths/trails lead across grassy dunes to a incredible stretch of sandy beach. The state park offers many opportunities for camping from RV sites to traditional camping spots, but what caught...More

An out of the way type of place with both camp sites and yurts. There is a long stretch of empty beach. Restrooms and showers are spotless. During the off season the park is mostly empty. The small adjoining town offers little so come prepared.

We had a mid-week camping trip here as the grand finale of our summer, and were impressed with the upkeep, the vast beach, and the level of campsite privacy at Grayland Beach. This was our first experience with "yurting," and we were very pleased; we...More

Very nice state park right on the beach. Very clean and well-maintained. Also very difficult to get a reservation unless you book well in advance. We stayed in a yurt for the first time and would not recommend it. They're nice but overpriced for what...More

Yes it is. As Bob Z said, you can conveniently drive your car on the beach and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Just make sure your car has a good enough "clearance" so it doesn't get bogged down in the deep sand. Otherwise you... More

Google the Washington State Parks site and go to Grayland Beach State Park. There you can see there are probably 50 sites practically on the beach.
