We stopped in near the end of the day. They have several very interesting objects that do a nice job of recounting the early days of logging. What was even more welcome was the personal attention we received from the attendants, who were most helpful in expanding on the history of Forks logging.

We watched a VCR video of the historical lumber industry which was interesting. The museum was very quant and cozy. Interesting historical artifacts.

There is more history here than just timber logging. It's a cute little museum, only $3 fee. Little .4 mile trail loop out back.

This museum was cute and had a lot packed into a small space. The volunteer was very helpful and informative, and you could tell she really liked it there. Nice little spot to stop if you're in Forks.

My husband is a woodworker and works at a lumber mill here at home, so this was a must see. Enjoyed learning the history.

If you don't know much about the timber industry on the Olympic Peninsula, this is definitely worth an hour of your time. Lots of stuff, lots of pictures, and all organized in an approachable way. If you have ancestors who were in the lumber business or who were from the area, you just might see pictures of them on the... More

This is my kind of place.Thank you very much indeed. Local people, telling a local story, something they truly believe in, something from the local community, reflecting so much history. No, this place did not have a multi million dollar budget to install the displays. On the budget they had [not much] they have used imagination, creativity and knowledge. Brilliant,... More

This place is fascinating and fun. Look for Bella's Red Truck (part of Twilight feature in Info Center). Lots of exhibits about Forks Timber days and history. Allow about an hour. Parking in front.

Stopped here on a rainy day when other options were not appealing. Gave a good idea of the settlement and history of the area. Husband especially enjoyed it. Cleared enough to take the little rain forest loop behind the museum
