The way the area was rebuilt and replanted was nice. The bridge was a work of art. This whole area is a place that should be seen by everyone. To see the beauty that came out of such devistation is amazing

We drive up the highway just to get out of the house! We can see deer, elk, and other wild critters. The drive is beautiful and you have to stop to see the span over the river! It is gorgeous! It's a nice relaxing drive!

Road was in good shape, scenic drive, couple of nice places to stop along the way. . Just be warned, it is a 50 mile drive on steep, windy roads.

This is a beautiful drive into Mount St Helens. The Norfolk pines are everywhere. The views are breath-taking. Stop at the overlooks for the best views.

Be sure to take time to travel this beautiful highway and to stop at the lookouts to enjoy the beauty. We drove to Loowit lookout to view Mount St Helens without paying Johnson observatory fee. It is incredible to see the power of mother nature.

Wonderful road in great shape. Good sight lines. Plenty of turn offs and view points to keep us busy and interested. Dramatic view of the mountain.

Make sure you leave time to travel this highway in a leisurely fashion, and spend time stopping en route and at Johnston Ridge. The highway is amazing, and the views spectacular. You haven't seen Mt St Helens unless you've traversed this highway.

This is a rather new highway, often two lanes in each direction which is easy to drive and provides several view points.

On your way to see the volcano, note the scenic views and sites. If you can, take a short hike to get a view of that incredible bridge.
