The old bridge dating back to the war years, was more of an adventure than anything else. The bridge would vibrate if cars or buses were passing - the walkway was narrow and not well separated from the traffic. The new bridge solved all those problems: the walkway is now very wide with sold separation between traffic and pedestrians. Views... More

I did a series on Mannette and have some really great shots of the Mannette Bridge at night and in the daytime. Since the building of this new bridge it has been an excellent addition to Mannette. It is beautiful, wider for ease of travel for vehicles and people. For the 4th of July you can stand on this bridge... More

Crossed it many times. Nothing special. Just a bridge to get from one end of town to the other over the Sound

It's a nice new bridge that is way better than the old bridge for cars and drivers, but the old bridge was way more picturesque.

A fine way to go to the often quaint Manette side and looking for - and finding - the excellent Boat Shed

Find a parking spot, maybe at the donut shop on the East end. Take a walk over the bridge. What a view. The walkway is wide. There are cutouts to take pictures. Water, mountains, trees and sunset. You might even see a killer whale. It is worth the time.

Very cool bridge. Spent some time in Bremerton and walked over this bridge to go eat at the Boat Shed. Great little place and great seafood!

It seems strange reviewing a bridge as a tourist attraction, but it was a fun little walk across it. The newish bridge has a very safe walk & cycle path, so the short trip across is safe for you to skip, laugh, or jog across without fear of the cars in the narrow two-lane vehicle area. Stop in the middle... More

I love it every time I walk the Manette Bridge. Now they've added orange flags to carry in the crosswalks so cars will take notice at the roundabout. The bridge is wide enough for friends to walk four across. You can stop for pictures of the water and just wish you were in one of the kayaks or motor boats... More
