Understanding how well Canada and the US work together at the border.

Walked among the beautiful flowers and manicured lawns. Lots of room to walk or sit and view the ocean.

Peace Arch State Park is right at the no-mans land between the Canadian and US customs stations. Theoretically, it's right at the border. But in order to access it, you'll need to be on the Canadian side. Lots of grass for picnics and right along the waterfront. It's also easy to access but they do control the traffic and have... Nice park that sits on the border between BC and Washington state. Has nice clean washrooms and picnic area. There is a beautiful view out onto the ocean and the Gulf islands. It is a nice place to relax and just enjoy the outdoors.

This is a favourite park since growing up in White Rock, next door. It's enormous, so you can choose which areas to enjoy. If you're having a picnic, there are lovely tables and nice scenery to the right as you are going toward the Blaine border crossing. If you want to enjoy the playground you need to get across to... This is a nice park to see. You can spend as much time as you find necessary. We took a few minute walk around to see the arch, sculptures and flowers & landscaping. At the top of the USA side there is a playground for children. Really beautiful flowers. Park is definitely well maintained.
