This museum is a great place to spend a couple of hours on a damp day in Bellingham. We highly recommend the Zapp show at 2:30 p.m. and about an hour or so to explore the museum exhibits.

Terrific even if your interest in electricity is minimal. Some of the exhibits are totally absorbing. Explanations are clear, and interactions with much of the exhibits leads to greater understanding. You can play a therion, finally understand Franklin's kite experiment and check out a marvelous...More

Such a fun place to visit. I would allow 1 hour for the main Museum and the 2:30 mega Zapp show is a must. Kiddos loved all the interactive displays.

This was unlike anything I'd seen. It's great if you don't understand anything about electricity (and probably if you do, but I wouldn't know!). It's also fun if you like history--there was a good audio history of electrical discoveries, plus lots of old radios, TVs,...More

We went specifically for the show (we'd been told it was good.) We arrived an hour early, and then easily spent that hour looking at the exhibits and playing with the hands-on interactive activities before we headed into the show. One of the docents who...More

Fascinating displays of vintage electronics backed by well done educational materials and displays. The array of wonderful 'cutting edge" radios an other simple electrical instruments was like no other we have seen.
