Larrabee State Park is where you want to find this hike. They also have Lost Lake hike. The Fragrance Lake is 51/2 mile r/t and is very beautiful. Need your hiking boots! Once you get to the lake, there is a trail around the lake to take. Nice place for a picnic lunch!

A group of us went here for the first time on Mother's Day. It was a fun little park. Explore on the trails out to the water, find sea life on the rocks. Just a great relaxing place to go with friends. You will need a Discover Pass to park though. FYI

If in the Bellingham area, we can not help ourselves to visit Larrabee Park on our way back South, if we are not in a hurray. Just South of FAIRHAVEN town is Larrabee, which so relaxing a spot. Then we continue down Chuchanut Drive AND ENJOY THE VIEWS.

We love taking our grandchildren here. Lots to see and do and they can run to their hearts content. Some of the trails can be a bit challenging if you have any difficulties getting up and down stairs.

Just a short walk from the parking lot, along a great trail, brings the most beautiful views! My only complaint is you have to pay to park (never had to when I was in college!).

The oldest Washington State Park! This area has hiking trails, hiking views, camping, oceanside sunsets and so much more. Great for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Bring a picnic or camp for the weekend. Close to Bellingham, but you still feel like you're out in nature. GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY! You'll love it.

Larrabee has a small unique beach that is accessible from the boat launch. It's not a beach i would make a destination out of. If you have time in bellingham, half the fun of getting to this beach is the drive, which is fantastic. Also, be mindful of the tides. If you get caught exploring the beach when the tide... More

Choose to drive up the coast and through the state park instead of I5! It is definitely worth the extra 10 minutes and have several areas to stop for a quick hike or just a scenic outlook.

Today I visited Larrabee State Park, located in Bellingham, WA. April 15th is Spring Day, so the park was free to the public. What a perfect day...blue skies...64 degrees...not too crowded...lovely day!

This is a amazing park to stop at even if it is just for a day visit. There's lots of cool hiking trails and majestic views of the Pacific Ocean. Plenty of locations where you can sit out on a rock ledge and overlook the water. Great for a sunny day adventure.
