I'm impressed that there is this extensive trail system that is so well maintained and so easily accessible. Run, walk, bike, it's all good.

This trail is ideal for casual walkers or people looking for a longer bike ride. The views range from islands, to forest, to creeks to the bay. Some parts get a little muddy when it rains, but we don't mind. The section by Arroyo Park...More

We didn't walk much of this trail but what we did walk was clean and had a great view. We used it to get to Teddy Bear Cove which has amazing views of the oyster domes and the water. You can also see the occasional...More

My son and I were visiting Bellingham and decided to check out the Interurban Trail! We brought our mountain bikes and went about 4 miles. The trail was beautiful but I feel like it would be better for walking than biking. When it is busy,...More

We found this trail near the summit of the Chuckanut while cycle touring. It was nice to get off the highway into a nicely shaded trail that was mostly downhill at a rail grade. Signage at trail exits could be better, we misread and ended...More

It's a perfect time walk the interurban trail. Spring is in the air & everyone is getting on the trails to walk or bike. The Cherry blossoms are in bloom right now. Just go on a day that's not raining to enjoy.

What's cool about this trail is that you can enjoy a nice, relatively flat stroll along a creek and through woods that are nestled in a residential area. If you follow the trail far enough, you'll begin to ascend through the forest and eventually you'll...More

This trail is easy to manage and provides solitude with occasional wonderful views of the water. You can travel from Bellingham to the beach at Larrabee Park.

I rode this trail on a mountain bike on a wet day in November and it is far from urban. It's a meandering trail through the forest at the base of Chuckanut. You can see across the bay to the islands.
