Quite a small resort - not enough space to really fly. Lifts were acceptable but most were old. It just about justified the price for a day pass if you skied all day but there is not enough to do when the whole resort isn't...More

I tend to be a "blue run" skier. One side of the mountain is black diamond, the middle is green - and not too many options for us in-betweeners. Tyro and Tequila are probably my favorite runs on the mountain. I call Eagles Swoop the...More

Was sad there was no snow when we visited, but we all enjoyed our time together as a family. Beautiful scenery, helpful staff and found lots to do. Only issue was archery had been overbooked so only 2 out of 8 got to do it....More

The accommodation and surroundings at Wintergreen are lovely, but our experience at the spa was horrible. Do not visit this spa unless you desperately need a spa experience while you are staying in the Blue Ridge area. We've been to many of the luxury spas...More

I went to the Spa and Fitness Center yesterday (January 25). I enjoyed an outdoor hot tub after a workout in the remodeled and expanded fitness center. The Fitness Center is large, with lots of glass, and new equipment. Congratulations to Wintergreen on a remodeling...More

Beautiful scenery. Went snow tubing for the first time in my 55 years. Even with my limitations I had a fantastic time. Slopes were well maintained and the conveyor belt makes it easy to get back up the 300 yd hill.

Skiing at Wintergreen has been a family favorite. Snowmaking is great, and there are some nice trails to try out. As most Southeast skiing, there is little real snow and what is blown out at night tends to freeze or become slushy, but that is...More

Attended a conference at the resort and spent the night in a lodge suite with a mountain view. The front desk staff person was exceptional and friendly. Conference setting was average in terms of lighting and comfort, but again exceptional staff. My room in the...More

Wintergreen is truly a year round resort. Of course it has skiing and snow-boarding in the winter but it has much more. It has indoors and outside pools, several restaurants, two gold courses one on the mountain and one in the valley. It has a...More

We had a 3 bedroom condo my wife and I and our 2 adult kids with their families. Although just a bit dated, overall a very nice place and very convenient. Fabulous, scenic and adventurous hiking trails with loops and trails of varying distances available....More

If you stay through the resort, you will have access to the shuttle. It will take you to the ski slopes, homes, restaurants etc. But it won't take you outside the resort. There are so many great hiking trails and such beauty... More
