Our 1-hour Ghostly Tales tour takes you through Williamsburg's historic area in the evening. You will be introduced to the historic importance of each site visited, you will hear of the local ghostly legends that surround them, and of recent encounters with the spirits that reside there. Our Walk About History tour is a 1 1/2-hour introduction to the history of Williamsburg - its historical importance, development in the 18th century, glimpses into daily life of colonial inhabitants, and modern restoration. Our unique African American History Tour is specific to the Black experience in Williamsburg and lasts 1 1/2 hours. ALL TOURS ARE OUTDOOR WALKING TOURS. WE DO NOT GO INSIDE THE BUILDINGS. An excellent choice if you have limited time to visit Williamsburg, or are looking for an in-depth orientation before touring the town on your own.

I highly recommend this tour! You will learn little-known historical facts and tidbits ( the story behind the story) that you won’t get anywhere else. Trish was an excellent tour guide!

We enjoyed the tour The tour guide Trisha Thomas was very knowledgeable. We learned so much about how, when, and why the African people were sold into slavery. It was confirmed what I always thought that the slaves played a much greater role in the...More

We appreciate your review. It underscores the reason we began to do African American history tours -- it was long overdue in Williamsburg. Again, thanks for the very kind words.

Took the evening ghost tour with our family, including two kids under ten, and had a fantastic experience with our guide Lindsay. Tour covered a relatively small area near the Palace Green with stories that were more extensive than other tours we've taken. For instance,...More

Really enjoyed our tour. It was nice seeing things in the daylight. Tour was at a good pace and just enough information (not overwhelming). Good for adults and kids.

Although fares to Colonial Williamsburg are sold - there is no fee to enter and shop and explore. Certainly, no entrance ticket is necessary to do the one day tour.
