An ID is required to visit. All visitors must go through a military security checkpoint. A military ID is required for the beach and most other points. This is a great place to visit. We come every year and highly recommend it.

Walked over to this beach after visiting the light house and other historical markers which were very interesting. Very secluded beach with seaweed or whatever that was that washed up. Glad we took the walk.
