Great time to be had by all. Little crowded on peak times but still plenty of fun. Beaches have LOTS of space. Careful of I-64 on Sat\Sun as it can be slow going. Wide variety of hotels. Lots of little shops and tons of places to eat (especially breakfast).

Watched the Dolphins play while I sat in the sand eating my lunch from Wendy's. $2 domestics at a bar by the pier It was the perfect day Make sure you leave the boardwalk parking by 6 p.m. otherwise you get locked in and are forced to illegally drive on the boardwalk to get out of the parking lot.

Start at King Neptune at 31st Street. There's a parking garage right there. Take pictures, then rent bikes, a Surry or just walk in either direction. There are lots of restaurants with patios on the beach = stop for an orange crush and people watch. Hit some shops for tee-shirts [you have to cross Atlantic for shop-hopping]. Hop on the... More

Clean beach, lots to do, biking, fishing, roller blading, ferris wheel, exercise course. We saw dolphins and a sea otter from the shore in February.

We visited this boardwalk in the off season. It's nice because it hugs the beach so you can walk on it and feel like you are on the beach without all the sand. The hotels and restaurants along the boardwalk are classy. The only problem could be parking.
