Great Park for walking with dogs, taking the kids out, or jogging. For the really fit - running the stairs up the hill. Kids love it, especially those born and raised in flat Virginia Beach. This "mountain" is great fun to run up and roll down. They also have playgrounds.

Living in this area since before Mount Trashmore existed makes this review easier to write. The highest point in Va. Beach also gives you a birds eye view of the Town center area. The climb tests your endurance but is well worth it. There are 3 sets of stairs to the top which my grandkids and I haves named: Papa... More

You'll use your muscles to get to the top of Mt Trashmore. It's a great view and there is a lake to walk around as well. There is a great playground for little ones too. People of ALL ages are out every day at Mt. Trashmore.

Have your walking shoes on, the steps can get ya. Great place for a picnic, kids parties or just to get away to read. Bring a picnic basket and your kite.

This a great place to exercise, enjoy a nice walk, meet new people (dog lovers, kite flyers, personal trainers), take family photos, etc. There are a few amazing areas for kids, there is a skatepark, a large covered area with tables, benches and seating around the water... It really is a good place to go to get away from the... More

If you're looking for some exercise at a unique place...you've found it! I was worried at first that it would smell like rotten trash but to my surprise, nothing! Very clean. A place I would definitely take my children to for fun!

I remember Mount Trashmore from the days of being stationed in Norfolk. Loved it then and still do. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the place and couldn't believe what it really is.

This is probably the best idea anyone has had for a dump, ever. I had an awesome time here. Spacious, quiet, beautiful, clean. Couldn't ask for much more!

My family and I really enjoyed the Turkey Troy 10k that was run around Mount Trashmore Park. Nice skate area and scenic pond, I also enjoyed running up and down the hills with my youngest in the piggy back position. It would be a great place to stroll, catch a few fit bit steps and just relax - and it's... More

This is a hidden gem in Virginia Beach, but its not really hidden, its right off the interstate. They have a picnic area with several grill stations for outside parties, kids skating area, fields for young adults to stretch out and play and a huge mountain to rest on or fly on a kite. There are walks along the water... More
