The course is not too challenging but fun. A word to the wise either tee off early (before 8:00 AM) or later after (2:00 PM), the course is marshaled but the marshals nudge on pace of play and don't enforce it. If you play during peak times be prepared to wait at every hole. The course is well maintained and... More

Very friendly staff. Nice course and it wasn't busy, so no waiting. Price was very reasonable and plenty challenging! We played it twice!

Very good public course that stands comparison with some VB private courses! Very welcoming staff with a knowledgeable and helpful starter, all supported by excellent greens. Good test of golf off the Blue tees for sure.

Nice course. A bit challenging (lots of water) but hey, that's what we play for right? Price was reasonable. Greens were in great shape. I'd play this again.

Red Wing course was very good, fairways , greens and entire course was in good shape. Play was well paced and challenging. Enjoyed our 18 holes and well worth the price ( $33.00 for 18).

My favorite Va Beach course. I love to walk nine. Easy to get on after noon without tee time. City owned = inexpensive. The back nine has beautiful water views. At times we see bald eagles.

Nice public golf course very close to oceanfront in Virginia Beach. The staff was very nice to my wife and I. Nice wide open course for beginners like me. Was going to spend the money on another course, but was talked out of it by a local.

This little course south of NAS Oceana is a must play in Va Beach. It's one of the best public courses, especially for the price. The layout is challenging and fun. No gimmicks...no boring straight away holes. Just a lot of fun. The ONLY reason it doesn't get 5 stars....they seemed to have no idea on managing pace of play.... More

Very fun course. The staff was very friendly. The only negative was there was no starter, and a very slow group failed to see us waiting at the first tee, which led to a slow front 9 behind them. Good course for those who have a variety of skill levels in their group. Great variety of birds along course- even... More
