We took a quick walk through the first floor of this facility. The second floor was not accessible due to a conference. There was a nice display of photographs by a local photographer and some nice wooden pieces of art on display.

The center always has wonderful items for sale. However, what I enjoy are the display they put on. Currently their is a display of 17th and 18th century maps with descriptions that is worth while for anyone who likes history or antiques.

Small, but interesting gallery. Housed in a beautiful old hotel. Free admission. Gift shop was closed when we toured.

A real jewel of a resource right in the heart of Staunton's historic downtown. If you love art and/or history, there is always something awaiting you at the Smith Center. Parking just feet away.
