Two adults/two teens did the walk/trot trail ride, having not ridden horses in years or never. All enjoyed the ride immensely. Three children did the pony rides - all three being extremely wary of the horses at first to calling themselves cowboys at the end...More

I cannot rave enough about our experience with JHS! My 9 yer old son had never been on a horse before. Lisa made sure to explain all anyone needed to know about riding; how to steer the horse, make them move, stop them, etc. Our...More

I must say I was nervous to let my 7 year old on a horse by herself, but the staff and horses were amazing. She had the time of her life and cannot stop talking about it. Our guide Amanda was so nice and very...More

Well cared for horses, awesome guides, and scenic trails. This was a great experience. Lisa is one of the nicest people we've ever met. The whole family had a great time (even the cranky teenagers ).

I took my two kids, ages 9 and 7. They had their own horse. Our guide Amanda was very attentive to them. She was helpful and instructive, teaching them rather than just telling them what to do. Highly recommend!

I have two grandsons that we'd like to have join us on a ride. They are 4 and 8 years old. What are your age limits? May each ride with an adult?

There is no room in the saddle to sit two comfortably, but we do offer a pony ride for the 4 year old on our smaller horses. The age limit to ride on the trails is the age of 7, so the 8 year old can ride with you!
