This park was great to meet at and get picked up by a boat. The parking is shaded and just a short walk down to the boat dock. Just one inlet over from the Gainesville Marina on the water.

Excellent HUGE playground with equipment for handicapped children. Large picnic shelters, nice quiet areas to get away from it all, as well as movies and concerts in the park. Always clean, and well maintained. Best part of Salem!

Longwood Park is a special place for us. We have had many birthday parties there, did snow sledding off its hillside area, and brought the dog to walk the small walkway they have there. We attended so many local events as well. You will love...More
