This was our 3rd trip to this lovely preserve. We primarily go to see / hear birds but also love the scenery. Nice trails for hikes through meadows, woods and along streams. Birding is wonderful in the spring - many varieties of warblers, thrushes, swallows.

Trails were well maintained and there were lots of additional loops to make the hike longer if you chose to do so.

The BRCES is a beautiful and peaceful place to go especially if you like scenery that's free of skyscrapers and apartment buildings.

Great park to hike and see wildlife. Always a good place for birding too. Great trail systems for long hikes or short hikes.

Tons of walking trails, camping with permission. Join US Trail Ride (.com) and have access to the miles of horseback riding trails.

Located only 30 +/- minutes from the heart of Loudoun County, you can hike this lovely open area that features tree cover, open fields, crossing streams over stones and over small bridges, farmland. Some elevation too. Highly recommended!

Very nice people, good food and reasonably priced. Get there early though. It's a very popular place.

BRCES is not only a big open hiking area, but it's beautiful trails meander through an old farmstead, showing the area's history and landscape. My family loves the quiet and peace of the place and the hike can be done by my young sons.
