Great 4 hour fishing trip. Picked up from our camp site and taken to the boat for 9am start. Fast boat, good equipment and bait supplied. Skipper very helpful.

We had a nice fishing trip the other day with a really enjoyable captain. Neither of us have a lot of fishing experience but enjoyed an afternoon at the sea. The boat was fairly small and not very comfortable but the atmosphere and attitude was great. We ended up with seven keepers in the end of the day and had... More

Really enjoyed this trip. Ive never fished before and am a complete novice but the skipper was very friendly and helpful without ever getting agitated that I hardly knew one end of the rod from the other! He moved us to different spots to ensure we caught a decent level of fish. The views were amazing and to top it... More

From the first point of contact with Wendy by phone this was an awesome experience. My partner and I booked a morning charter on Saturday 9 till 1pm the conditions we were told were a little challenging but their skipper was great and would see to it that we had fun. We jumped on and met Craig the skipper and... More

It was a brilliant sunshine day but unfortunately the fish did not come out to play. Had a great time despite catching only undersized snapper and kingfisher. Skipper was friendly and boat fantastic.

We started at 14:00 in Paihia and the first spot we watched some little snappers but all well under the legal size. The captain was friendly but he tried to catch a Kingfish with the live bait only by himself and didn't let the clients try to do that. After he catches two Kingfish under the legal size the live... Desiree65. Many thanks for your feed back. We hire guides to operate our experiences on our behalf, and we do not expect that they fish for themselves. A guides job is customer service at all times. Your feed back is important to us and we will address this accordingly. Rob Blakely. Owner. More

Our day was rough in respect of 2 meter seas, however we all enjoyed the challenge, even the hound Dr who insisted on supplying Berley for bait for a good part of the trip. The day was made by our young Maori skipper called Sam who was easy going, whilst being knowledgable and extremely approachable. Our catch rate was steady... More

We had a fishing comp between 4 groups. We won biggest snapper and most weight for the catch on the "Wairere". Wonderful skipper with good knowledge of the right "Spot" to ensure a perfect day out.

Amazing time out in the waters. Sun was very hot though, Skipper was very friendly and we saw dolphins too. Size of snapper does not matter, it was how much fun we got out of the whole trip.

At very late notice I was able to join a 4 hour snapper charter (they even held the boat up slightly for me) we were very lucky in that all 6 people on the charter scored good fish and the guide was a nice guy and very knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommended
