We went with a group of 5 and we were amazed by the variety and general cleanliness of the exhibits. Inexpensive and well worth a visit.

We enjoyed visiting the Parrot Place, the staff were informative , and it was a nice clean tropical paradise for the many wonderful birds. Try and pick a day when its not too hot or else the birds will be happy to stay in the rear of their enclosures.

If anyone in your family likes birds this place is your go to. . With so many birds that you wouldn't get to see anywhere else in northland and I would even risk saying seeing in one place in nz . . Go on do it. .you won't regret it. .

I took a group of senior citizens, they loved the birds. As soon as we walked in they had a bird placed on them. The majority of the birds are fairly tame and will com to the fence for food. The walk in enclosure is neat.

Food provided to feed the birds. Some are flying free and others are in cages. Some will feed from your hands and sit on your arm etc. Great to take visitors to

As soon as you walk into this place you're handed a few feathered friends to take a ride on your arms, head, shoulders and generally anywhere they want to perch. there's many different types of birds and a few other furry creatures to make you smile. $10.00 well spent for lots of happiness. This place is really neat and I... More

Went with my 4 yr. old grandson and worth the $5 fee for kids and $10 for adults! They taught us about the different birds and fed them food. He loved the ones that talk. Don't miss this if you are in the area!

We had a great time at the Parrot Place today. There are a large number of parrots at this place in all shapes and sizes. It is awesome to be able to interact with parrots and feed them. The grounds are beautifully presented. The only thing that could be better are the toilet fascilities.
