We were a group of four who arrived for tasting. A warm welcome awaited us with a selection of delectable wines. Information both verbal and written was shared with personality and flair. Others arrived and despite now a larger number of people everyone felt included in a convivial atmosphere. Difficult to make purchasing choices - but we managed! Well done... More

Visited here for wine tasting and we were not disappointed! The gentleman had great knowledge and s good sense of humour! The wines were stunning it's a shame you can't buy them in the Uk!

A 'must visit' on any wine trip to Martinborough, this place never disappoints. I lie, major disaster of yesterday's visit was that their Chenin Blanc had long since sold out. Major strategic error on my part I guess! Kate knows her wines and has a dry sense of humour to match. I recovered well from my disappointment regarding the sold... More

We stopped here for a wine tasting.. i absolutely loved all the wines! The sav is one of my favorites! Wine Tasting is $5 which gets refunded back if you buy a bottle. We got to taste around 10 different wines.

We went across from Sydney for 3 days and attended the wine festival. Margarine was a good discovery with some excellent Pinot Noir

This was our third winery in our bike tour and the service was exceptional. Despite their being a large number of people the hostess dealt with each group as if they were on the only people in the tastings room. Knowledgeable service and super helpful when answering questions. The wine is also lovely. Must tries are the bubbles, the rose... More

Love the wine! The sav is beautiful and like nothing I've ever tasted before. Bought a good few bottles of it and am excited any time I see it on a menu!

Booked in for two nights on special deal. The unit was warm and comfortable with heater and electric blankets which were essential. Lovely farmland view from the deck outside, with bush and birds in the immediate vicinity. Complimentary bottle of wine and two mornings' complimentary continental breakfast supplied. Good supplies of coffee, tea, etc. but we thought the Martinborough water... More

We visited about 6 vineyards during our afternoon visit. This was the stand out of the day, best range and overall consistency across the different types of grapes. We were a group of 4 with different tastes in wines, but this was definitely a crowd pleaser. So much so our guests ordered a case to be sent back to Australia!... More

Often stop off at Margrain vineyard for lunch if we are in the Martinborough area, along with one or two others. We've always had lovely food, great service and a fabulous backdrop.
