Great protected swimming area. Perfect place on a hot day to take a tube and just float around for a few hours. We visited on a stinker and noticed it does get very busy though so don't expect to have the place to yourself.

This is a lovely spot ideal for young children and older ones alike. Surfing smaller waves are safe and snorkeling secluded calmer ponds gives the chance to see lots of colorful fish. A bit rocky with the volcanic rocks in places but an ideal destination

This is another excellent area to visit when visiting Bargara. You can see evidence of the volcanic past of the area. Good to visit at low tide and look into the rock holes.

We came here to go scuba diving, and were reasonably happy with what this dive site has to offer. It is easily accessed from the shoreline/rocks. The visibility was not that great on the day we went, but this was due to weather and tides at the time. It is usually better than this. Take care near the edge as... More

Fantastic holiday. Lovely coast line. Must do is the bike ride from Bargara to Burnett Heads, through the turtle rookery. Great coastal / rural scenery and good coffe, smoothies and milk shakes at Bargara Surf Club on the way back. 26km 2 hour return trip but all flat and hard surface riding tracks. Well worth it.

Excellent place for nature lovers and diving/snorkeling. Location on here is incorrect so google the correct location at Innes Park/Coral Cove.

Went with friends a couple of times as it was the only snorkeling spot I could find while we were staying in the area. On first sight my heart sank; I was trying to teach snorkeling to an inexperienced person and those rocks filled me with trepidation. The rocks proved easier than I expected to navigate, (and I loved the... More

Had a dive here. Visibility was great. Coral varieties were great. Fish life is pretty slim. If you're a diver, just getting in the water and exploring is a good thing. If you are a "look at the pretty fish" style of diver, you would probably be better off heading to one of the islands.

Great rock pools, more coral than expected, some great little fish, and spectacular volcanic rock formations.

This is our own private beach with this view from our lounge room and we love this place so much. Always something to do - surfing for the novice - kayaking - snorkelling - or just cooling off in the refreshing ocean or rock pool at high tide! Dolphins and whales from time to time make for an even more... More
