This is a very interesting place if you are curious about how quickly fire reacts. They have the history of fire fighting in Australia. Very educational.

It costs about $10 per adult to get in. The museum offers an interesting look into fires, how they happen and the history of fire fighting. The burnt out bedroom display creeped me out when I was a child and it is still there to this day and I am no longer creeped out, ha ha.

At first he was a bit frustrated by the fact that you can't touch the historic fire engines. It is interesting how much they have changed. They are all indoors and 'protected' by chains. There is a small hands-on area at the end. It has small fire engine rides and fronts of fire engines with seats. He loved putting on... More

Excellent for kids fascinated by fire trucks as there are lots of fire trucks on display . But I felt price s not worth and it can be little reduced. No cafe nearby .

Called in when visiting the area in early December. Really well presented museum in a quirky old building too. Some lovely relics and some real history held within these walls. It's a credit to the folk who put it all together

Interesting, fun and factual learning for the kids! They even got to have a spin in an old fashioned fire truck, which even I thought was fun! A must for families during the school holidays!

A lot of things to look at, a lot of models and some interactive displays for the kids. A few of the trucks the kids can climb all over and have a bit of fun with. Certainly worth a visit, kids love it.
