Hike up and finding trail was extremely long and hot as we were just let off the boat - given a few directions and left to our own devices... Its a dry arid island - lots of cactus - lots of dry rocks and lots of lizards... the lighthouse itself is kind of sad, especially after the effort and time... More

Capt Dave from culebra bluewatercharters told us about the about the lighthouse on a culebrita tour we did wth him and we decided to do the hike and it was well worth it, Spectacular views from up there just remember to take mosquito repellent if you go in rainy season as we got bit a bit.

It took us 10-15 minutes to hike to the top. You'll encounter a few goats and tons of hermit crabs along the way. The views are worth the hike. You can see St. Thomas in the distance. Good thing to do it you are heading to Culebrita, but don't head to Culebrita just to see the lighthouse.

The lighthouse was cool, but you first have to go on a tour through the Mangroves. It was interesting enough; I just thought it would be more about the lighthouse, but it really wasn't. We did have a nice time and it is something a person should see.

It's a relatively easy hike up if you have proper shoes. We were off our boat and had rock shoes so had to pick our way more cautiously. The view from the lighthouse is lovely. Sadly the lighthouse is falling into disrepair.

It cost a bit of money to get over to this island but worth a day trip. Captain Dave was excellent! You hike to the top of the mountain and see the light house-a beautiful historical site. Makes one wonder about the lives and stories of those who lived there in centuries past. The views of the ocean are breathtaking... More

It is a substantial hike to see the lighthouse but well worth the time. A group is actively working to restore the lighthouse and I hope they are successful. The lighthouse is old and an important part of the history in the Caribbean.

Nice hike up and the views from the lighthouse are breath taking for sure! The hike down and the plunge in the beautiful waters below are amazing too.

Got here by Capt. Bill, they were in the middle of re-building but it was still beautiful. Bug spray is an absolute must!
