My family and I (all having greatly enjoyed captain Cecil’s tour) are writing this review together. The four of us - including 2 two children of 12 years - agree unanimously that the Iceberg Man Tours are and always will be the best. Cecil’s genuine...More

What a pleasure to read such a beautiful family interview, and the fact that you wrote it together as a family means so much to me, as I believe families are everything. My wife and I are sitting here at home by the wood stove,...More

Like pretty well all the other reviewers, it was a great choice to go out with Iceberg Man. Saw several bergs, close up and got to "handle the ice" from a chunk of berg Woody had scooped up from the sea. Great commentary from the...More

2017 was indeed a great year for iceberg touring! And you are so right about the importance of noting that iceberg sightings here along the northeast coast are typically from mid-May to mid-July. Many thanks for your kind review!

This was a great tour with a locally run operation, The first whale watching tour boat in Twillingate. It is a smaller boat so you get a much more personalized tour. We booked with a larger boat who cancelled our trip since they did not...More

No icebergs, no whales, but we saw lots of dolphins and the boat crew were very experienced, but still infatuated with the mysteries of the sea

Cecil and Woody are the absolute best! We had a great experience and lovely boat ride on a very hot day--Cecil and Woody were both so pleasant and personable. Unusually, we saw a double breach (two whales breaching the surface at the same time)! Cecil...More

It really was a hot summer wasn’t it, and being out on the water was definitely the best place to be! Woody and I were so happy to find the whales, and to have such a magnificent show to watch! It was a pleasure to...More

This was a whale watching tour and cruise in the beautiful waters out of Twillingate. We encountered fog bank, but their experience and careful persistence paid off...besides fabulous scenery, we experienced two whales...a humpback and a fin whale...The captain is slow and methodical...almost seems as...More

Went on the Iceberg Man Tours boat to see icebergs in late July. There were no icebergs this summer, but Cecil took us out to see whales and was so professional and taught us how to view these amazing mammals in their own environment. He...More

Captain Cecil and Woody did an excellent job during our tour of the waters near Twillingate. They were genuinely friendly and concerned that their passengers received the most from the experience. Not a great year for icebergs, but they did manage to find a small...More

It is really difficult to predict the amount of time these icebergs will be passing Iceberg Alley. As of June 18th there are plenty of icebergs to see in the harbours and main waterways. Maybe you will be lucky and a few... More
