We did a roadtrip from St-John to Twillingate, stopping in Bonavista and Fogo. The best fish and chips we had during our travel was at the Auk Island Winery. Try it! And taste their berries wines too: interesting. Warm and smiley service.

Talk about unique! We loved the candy sweetness of the iceberg wines. You can order them by the box and have them shipped anywhere in Canada for $20 - excellent deal! Lovely gift shop and the ice cream is delicious.

Earlier this year I tried the strawberry spinach salad, cod tongues, and cod au gratin and it was excellent! The spinach salad is my new favorite - it's on par or better than the one previously served by Merlo's Press and Bean. Just a couple...More

The food was good and I'd really like to give a better review but rural Newfoundland has a customer service problem and they need to do better. Please learn how to wait/bus a table. Be attentive, bring the CORRECT food, bring food at the same...More
