The Lightbox gallery and museum is one of the most fun and exciting cultural spaces in the South East. Three galleries host a range of exhibitions from contemporary art to nationally famous artists which change regularly. The building is also home to the interactive museum 'Woking's Story', a canal-side Cafe and a unique Gift Shop. Venue hire is available and the building is fully accessible.

A good venue for a visit to discover the history of Woking and how it grew up around the railway and unique features such as the Mosque, Brookwood, Crematorium, Asylum etc. Allow at least 90 mins.

A great place to pass a couple of hours with the kids while in Woking. Great exhibitions throughout the year and some good children's workshops during the holidays. Try it!

The Lightbox has many attractions....displays of artists and artistic periods, a great display of the history of Woking etc. The format of the exhibitions is great, the location easy to visit by bus, car or train and the staff keen and knowledgeable . special attractions...More
