The Lake is beautiful scenery with restaurants and shops around it. Yes when it's cold and wet it can look like a day is ruined but dress for the British weather and enjoy the free air and scenery. You struggle to find a better walk and plenty of parking!

We go here quite frequently, it's a lovely walk around the lake which takes about 45 mins and there are a couple of pubs and cafes on the way around, the beach is lovely for food but gets very busy on warm days. The only problem is parking when its busy, there are a limited number of spaces next to... More

We have visited Hollingsworth lake on many occasions. We love to walk around it in the sunshine or any weather except rain to be honest! Can get busy at weekends/school holidays.

Really nice to walk around the lake takes around 1 hour and a enjoyable pace. Ice cream shops and a swim in the lake is recommended

Dirty, poorly maintained, litter strewn, scenery and wildlife good to view, expensive to park in a poorly maitained car park, definitely need boots or wellie to get round.

Beautiful place for an afternoon out, several shops close by, and places to eat, cafe half way round to sit and admire the view, and clean toilets

Lived only 10 mins away all my life and what a gem of a place. Nice and flat to walk round so ideal for prams and wheelchairs. Couple of pubs with grub. Even a campsite if you choose to stay longer. Great wildlife. Cold cold water but sections to paddle
