Lots to see and do. Kids went off to the play area whilst we strolled around the paths and took in the fishing lake with accompanying ducks. Shame the physical activity stations around the walk were cordoned off this time.

Took my grandchildren ages 2-6 for the Easter trail. Well organised and interesting to do. Play area was very good and lots of places for children to run and hide en route. Good prize at the end too. Will definitely return.

Really pleasant afternoon with the kids and dog. Weather was great, pizzas excellent as usual. A shame that most of the the exercise things were still being repaired.

Went with my son, basically to spend a few hours fishing,.Having parked we decided to pop into the cafe and enjoy e cuppa and sandwich. No problems and the service and charge was good. Then spent 5 hours fishing and we both caught plenty of quality roach and small carp. All in all whole day and noticed plenty of youngsters on... More

Shorne woods is really nicely kept and great to visit for a country walk. There are two cafes, an ice cream stand, huge picnic area and a toilet block. Only downside is they've done away with the BBQ site and you're now not allowed a BBQ anywhere on site which was a bit of a disappointment.

I've visited here many times. Its a great place to take the bike's, the dog or just for a good walk. There are many different trails to take and a big adventure playground for the little ones to play. As expected they have many places to have a picnic and if you didn't bring one a nice cafe. They do... More

This is one of my favourite local country parks. Great play ground, areas for picnics and extensive walking and tree climbing opportunities. The cafe serves a good range of food and drinks. There is evidence that they reinvest in all the facilities/paths etc. A great family location.

Perfect place to stretch your legs, our daughter loves the park and there are plenty of places to have a picnic, the only downside is the parking which was free is now £2.00 but you do get all day for that. nice coffee shop on site, also lots of dog walkers.

Looked for a meeting venue away from office and distractions. Large meeting room with friendly staff assisting. Great location to stretch the legs around the park in breaks. Ample parking and adjacent to A2 Trunk road
