One of the biggest Gurdwaras in Europe hosting fantastic facilities for Sikhs and the wider community, including three Meditation Halls, two Langar Halls, fully equipped Lecture Theatre seating 140 people, ICT suite, Library, Meeting Room, etc. Nursery provision to be developed. The compex also includes Sports fields and Sports Hall (home of Guru Nanak Football Club, Kabaddi, Karate, Basketball, etc), Guru Nanak Day Centre for the Elderly, and Punjabi School at weekends.

Had been before and wanted to show visiting friends it is well worth a visit everyone is very friendly and make you feel welcome it is free so I just gave a donation you need to remove your shoes but place to leave them ladies take a scarf to cover your head but if you forget they supply one men... More

It's a beautiful venue for wedding, various functions Large and well managed Lots of free parking available at the back of the Gurdwara for worshippers and who may be attending the Gurdwara for any programs Also available is fee paying parking for non worshippers which i think is controlled by local council The building looks like something Mughal time

This was a surprise. To find such a phenomenal temple in Gravesend was a very fine surprise, and it was a most interesting diversion to spend half an hour exploring. It is huge, very well used and very interesting; simply wandering around was great, and everyone that we encountered was friendly and warm ... well worth some of anyone's time... More

Was in Gravesend for a couple of days and the Gurdwara a visit. We were made very welcome and it was all very beautiful. Well worth a visit.

Very nice Temple and attractive! people were very welcome.we were offered food in the kitchen while you eat have to cover your head that i think to respect the food.we would visit again the Temple.

Decided to go to the Guru Nanak just before we went to India. We had been told that it was based on the Golden Temple. What a lovely surprise when we went in. Took our shoes off put a head scarf on. What a beautiful place to visit. We came here for a wedding and were totally blown away by how stunning the whole building is. I would recommend a tour.

We researched this temple after someone mentioned it to us. We travelled from Essex across to Gravesend using the Tilbury river ferry (quick and cheap!) and the staff at the nearby Gravesend Information Centre directed us to the temple giving us a clear street map to help us on our way.
