Marvellous place to visit plenty of room for most sporting activities or just a place to walk around, enjoy a drink in the cafe or better still go on an athletics day and watch the sports events.

the park is nice and always busy with plenty to do for kids. I use it when im on a bike ride, it gives good access to Billinge Hill and the mountain bike trails

Within Park is a great park to visit suitable for any age group. There are several play areas including a hidden one behind the cafe. There are Some nice areas to walk in but don't expect a quick brew when you've done the cafe is rubbish!! Slow service, expensive and shuts really early. Take your own picnic, flask and treats.... The actual park is the stand out attraction rather than the Visitor Centre. It was nice to see it so busy with the young and not so young! There were dog walkers, cyclists, children in the play area, joggers etc. Best of all there was no anti social behaviour going on. Parking was easy which is always a plus.

Absolutely love this park, it has a small playground, and adventure playground, a cycle centre, gym, outdoor exploration opportunities and race track. Fantastic for kids and adults alike, and the service is great, parking has never been a problem when I've visited either.

Came here for lunch and ended up staying for a few hours. Our daughter loved playing in both the adventure playground especially the big tower slide. The park also offers some good walks through the woods.
