We’re a unique dive centre located directly on the seafront, on the beautiful beach promenade of Arguineguin. We are proud to be the longest established dive centre on Gran Canaria (inspired by the ocean since 1972!) and we are the only centre on the island with our own pool! We are a family of 3, two instructors ans one junior divemaster, and we spent 2 weeks in Arguineguin diving with Nautico. The dive center has a wonderful pool, ideal for the courses. We went diving in various sites mainly by boat where we always encounter great marine life: turtle, stingrays, butterfly rays, barracudas, big fishes schools,... well above our expectations.
The dives briefings were professional and dives profiles were always extremely safe.
The complimentary water and cookies in between dives and the sandwiches once back to the dive center were a very nice treat, quite uncommon in other dive centers.
Highly recommended!

The two of us were looking for a diving school in Gran Canaria. One without certification with one time annoying experience during a Discover Scuba Dive, and the other with certification, but we wanted to work together. We had many questions and were well helped in advance via WhatsApp, so we made the decision. From Las Palmas to Aguineguin we had to take an hour by bus, but that effort was 100% worth it! We were welcomed with a cup of coffee, followed by a quiet briefing and extra explanation, which was nice after a mediocre experience. Had two very nice dives, where we especially felt very safe and comfortable with Bella and Benji. They made it cozy and are interested, partly because of which we talked for a long time after diving while enjoying a drink and sandwich! All in all only positive about Nautico Dive Academy!

Thanks to Benji and the pleasant, helpful fellow divers, because well, when things get a little worse physically... But also captain Miguel, a "heavyweight" in offering help when you forget something or get back on board want to. The welcome after diving provided by Bella (drinks and tasty baguette) ensures that everyone stays close to Gesellie, creating a real family atmosphere. I hope to be able to come back here for years to come and for that reason alone I wish Bella and Bintje good luck with respect for their courage to set this up during the Corona period!

Bella and Benji make you feel at home from the first moment. We have dived 2 weeks every other day with our own stuff that we could leave there during the non diving days. Had very nice dives with a lot of enthusiasm led by Benji. Bella as captain took us safely to all dive sites and in between provided us with water and snacks. Back at the diving school we were always offered sandwiches and drinks. A great experience with super cozy people! Wasn't easy to say goodbye to such a top team!

Just done 5 days fun diving with Nautico.
Had an amazing time and great dives.
Different sites each day. Wrecks , reefs , artificial reefs , deeper dives.
Seen Angelsharks, all different kinds of Rays (big and small) , Turtle , Eels , big schools of fish , schools of Barracudas , Nudibranchs , Octopus plus many more things.
Coffee on a morning while your setting up your gear. Tea/water/cookies while your doing your surface interval on the boat. Sandwiches and beer/soft drinks once your back at the shop.
I was travelling solo and they made me feel welcome and we had a laugh over the days.
Would highly recommend to anyone and I will definitely be back for more great diving.

My experience at Nautico Dive Academy was truly outstanding! The instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and approachable, making the learning process enjoyable and stress-free. Whether you're just starting out or are an experienced diver, the relaxed environment and warm hospitality make this place a gem. Whether you're looking to improve your skills or just dive for fun, you'll find everything you need here. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone passionate about diving or eager to learn. Bella and Benji are great very welcoming and helpful. This was my daughters second diving session after getting her certification and they were very supportive of her.
The dives were good, loads of varied sealife and Benji was quick to point out different species during the dive.
After dive they take you back to the centre and even provide some lunch.
All in a really nice experience

Super dive school. More than 2 months before I had already been in contact with Benji, the Owner of this diving school. The day before we came he sent me a message, which I appreciated very much and shows that they value good and personal contact.
Benji runs the diving school with his wife Bella and currently they employ an extra help with Max, he is currently working on getting his Divemaster. Together they are a very nice team, very helpful and very interested in their customers.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, when you arrive in the morning you can get coffee and they have already prepared the box to put the diving gear in. They have a handsome spacious bus and a private Zodiac that is less than 5 minutes from the diving school in the harbor.
The diving itself also goes very well with them, a clear briefing in advance and during diving they keep a close eye on things and ask with some regularity if everything is okay.
After the dive there are tasty sandwiches ready and you can get a nice cup of coffee or even a nice fresh beer.
So far the best diving school I have been allowed to dive with! When we are around again I will definitely go here again!!

Most friendly, family oriented and professional Dive Centre on the Island! I came here for holiday in August 2023 and moved here 3 weeks later to complete my Divemaster with Nautico and still diving now on a daily basis! This is a must recommend to all divers out there new and experienced!

A great three days of diving with Nautico. My daughter took her first steps into diving and we couldn’t have asked for a more patient, friendly and knowledgeable experience. The private pool was a big bonus and only a short walk to the beach for the try dive.
I went on to do a further two days of diving. Once again only a short trip to the harbour and boat, short trips out to the local dive sites, cookies and water provided between dives and the owners (instructor and skipper) always on hand to provide assistance and information (or just to chat) whenever needed.
The diving itself was fantastic with excellent weather, sea state and visibility. We saw angel sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, barracuda and moray eels both days and a juvenile hammerhead also paid us a visit on day one as well.
All round friendly, relaxed and great experience which I’ll hopefully repeat on my next visit to Gran Canaria.

Hi, how old do you need to be to try your hand at diving. I'm just researching possible holiday destinations. My son who will be 14 in the summer wants to have a go. I was thinking of booking a hotel in Bahia Feliz, would this be too far from your base? Also, what are the costs for a couple of dives (if my son is old enough)? I will not be diving. Thank you
