The decorstion of this church is the most besutiful and simple i hsve ever encountered. The normal Spanish religious decoration is very, very overwhelming with a great deal of gold, whereas this is simple and beautifully

Loved this church with a very bright interior and mural. Second time we visited a service was on so we stayed a little. Would visit again.

Such a peaceful place with such simplicity which is unusual in RC churches it looks as if it had a fresh coat of paint yesterday! Stick a couple of euros in the box and watch the row of candles light up!!!!!!

So refreshing to see a church that isn't bedecked with gold and silver but still well maintained by the community.

Gorgeous building in touristy spot but tried to attend mass on Sunday and was closed. Tried the other day listed on door and it was closed as well. Not sure when to do to see inside or attend mass. Hopefully you will have more luck.

Sorry I am unable to help here. Perhaps you could ask locally when visiting Old Town - Mojacar Pueblo. Thanks, Clare.
